.It’s time for Cluse

Cluse… het merk klinkt wellicht bekend in de oren als je een beetje social media volgt. De horloges van Cluse zijn namelijk niet uit het instagram-landschap weg te denken. De eenvoudige, elegante stijl en het feit dat je de bandjes kunt wisselen, prikkelde mijn nieuwsgierigheid. Na een bezoekje op hun website, koos ik voor het model “La Bohème Mesh” in de gouden kleur en het “Idylle” armbandje die ik niet kon weerstaan. Hieronder lees je hoe deze mij bevalt…

Cluse… this brand must sound familiar when you’re a social media follower. The watches from Cluse are no stranger on Instagram. Their minimal, elegant style and the fact that the straps are interchangeable, aroused my curiosity. After a visit on their website, I chose the “La Bohème Mesh” in gold and the “Idylle” bracelet that I just not could resist. You can read my findings below…

.Het model .The model

Ik heb een smalle pols maar toch kies ik steevast voor een iets groter horloge. Het moeilijke daaraan is een horloge te vinden die dan niet te ‘bulky’ is maar toch ook niet te klein. Ik weet dat het misschien tegenstrijdig klinkt, maar zo ben ik nu eenmaal… (lachje). De “La Bohème Mesh” is naar mijn mening een perfect voorbeeld van een elegante horloge die voor mijn pols niet te klein oogt en ook niet te zwaar. (lees verder onder de foto)

I have a small wrist but yet I always choose for a slightly bigger watch. The difficulty is to find a watch that is not too bulky but also not too tiny. I know this sound a little bit contradictory but hey, that’s me… (smile). The “La Bohème Mesh” is in my opinion the perfect example of an elegant watch that doesn’t look too tiny on my wrist and not too heavy. (read more below the pic)

.Het bandje .The strap

Het bandje is redelijk lang maar je kan het gemakkelijk aanpassen naar de grootte die jij wil. Ik heb het al verschillende keren vergroot en verkleind en ik heb hier geen problemen mee ondervonden. Zeker een pluspunt voor mij! De sluiting is een bepaald kliksysteem, je haakt deze eerst aan de andere zijde en daarna klik je het horloge vast. Eenvoudig en snel. (lees verder onder de foto)

The strap is fairly long but you can adapt the size easily at your wish. I already have enlarged and narrowed it several times and I never experienced any problems with it. Certainly a plus for me! The closure is a certain click system, first you need to hook on the other side and then you snap it. it’s pretty simple and fast. (read more below the pic)

.Het armbandje .The bracelet

“Idylle”… Elegant en mooi. Het enige minpunt aan het armbandje is de sluiting. Het heeft een ronde sluiting (veerring) in plaats van het welgekende haakje. Hierdoor heb ik minder grip en is het moeilijker om het armbandje te sluiten.

“Idylle”… Elegant and beautiful. The only downside of the bracelet is the closure. It has a round closure (springring) in stead of the well known hook. Therefor I find it more difficult to close it.
